if you understand to take advantage of a computer opponents mistake it is very easy to win. In addition to that you may sometimes play with a rating +300 yourself. 1700 the computer character that plays 1700 may make a mistake or hang a piece.
I do not agree. The thing with chessmaster is that to play with a rating e.g. So my guess is your real rating is your Chessmaster Rating minus 300-350. I just beat a rating of 1700 in Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition.
